A Call to Prayer

Huffman Baptist Church

June 14-21, 2009

It is an HONOR to be able to speak to God. Anywhere, anytime, under any circumstances we canapproach the throne of grace with confidences so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”(Hebrews 4:16)“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”(Matthew 7:7,8)God’s power is available to you when you come to Him. Keep your heart tuned to Him each day and you will discern His voice. Challenge yourself to see God in the events, people, and thoughts that come your way.

Please use the following daily scriptures to focus your mind and your prayers concerning
Huffman Baptist Church, its members, its leadership and its ministry.

1. Continue to pray for the vision of our Church.
2. Pray that HBC will remain united and in harmony during this transition time.
3. Pray for the Personnel Committee as they consider recommendations for our interim period.
4. Pray for our Pastor Search Committee, that God will guide them to recommend a pastor
